Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will perform various tasks while working out in the field such as installations and repair service, including inspections of automatic doors and gate systems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Installation and service repair work on automated gates and access control systems
- Installation and service repair work on automatic door systems
- Use welding techniques to assist with operations and repairs
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with our valued customers
- Read manuals and use correct resources to perform repairs for various brands of doors and gates serviced
- Maintain inventory on company service vehicle to effectively perform service calls
- Monitor vehicle for potential service issues and promptly report any concerns to management
- Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments
- Rotate the afterhours phone between other employees and respond to emergency calls
- Remain in contact with the Service Administrator throughout the day
- Assist Project Manager with other duties and responsibilities as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 2 + years of experience with automated gate and door systems
- Electromechanical repair skills are considered an asset
- Welding experience is preferred
- Must have a valid G Class driver's license
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing and able to work on a rotating on-call schedule when required
