**Job Title**:AME Apprentice (M1/M2)

**Job Type**:Permanent, Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

**JOB SUMMARY**

To maintain aircraft to applicable airworthiness standards, and perform both minor and major repairs on the aircraft.

**Responsibilities**
- Care and custody of tooling and publications associated with the maintenance function
- Responsible for accurately accounting for all maintenance tasks completed by updating logbook
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform heavy maintenance tasks without supervision
- Collaborate with project team members
- Ensure appropriate measures are taken to protect customer aircraft against damage
- Reporting of accidents, injuring, potential hazards, or dangerous occurrence to management, and co-operate fully in an investigation
- Maintain clean shop, hangar, and aircraft work environments
- Lead by example providing a positive role model for others to follow
- Participate in and support the company’s SMS program
- Perform other duties, as necessary assigned by the Lead

**Requirements**:

- College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational institution.
- Attention to detail and results oriented.
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervisor and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be flexible and organized with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
