Toronto, Canada Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. Full time

Join Riverside Natural Foods Ltd., a $300 million+ Canadian-based, family-owned, and globally operating business, committed to leaving the world better than we found it. As a B-Corp certified, Triple-Bottom Line, Zero Waste company, we are proudly manufacturing nutritious, 'better-for-you" snacks known as MadeGood and GOOD TO GO. We value teamwork, humility, respect, ownership, adaptability, grit, and fun.

We’re on an ambitious mission to double our business by 2027, and we need talented individuals like you to help us reach new heights. At Riverside, you’ll have the opportunity to chart your own path to success while contributing to ours. We believe anything worth doing is worth doing right, and our values will guide us through the rugged terrain - and yes, it will get rough. But that’s what makes the journey worthwhile.

So, lace up your boots and let’s tackle the climb together. Join us as our **Finance Manager, Supply**.

**Position Summary**:
As the Finance Manager, Supply you will assist in achieving the company’s goals by providing financial leadership to the Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams. This includes planning and forecasting, as well as analytical and strategic support for new growth initiatives. You will lead the day-to-day activities of our manufacturing sites and serve as an analytical thought partner to our Plant Operations, Supply Chain and other cross functional teams. You will problem solve issues such as production variances, drive plant productivity, oversee Capex project management and reporting, and outline solutions that will enable us to achieve our future growth objectives.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Provide day-to-day and longer-term financial leadership and support to the core operations teams. Lead monthly performance tracking, analyze performance trends to uncover key insights, and develop actions plans to address opportunities in a timely manner.
- Guide implementation and compliance of our costing policies, processes and procedures, and provide recommendations for improvement and efficiency.
- Own the analytics for key projects, providing recommendations on productivity and quality initiatives, growth opportunities and measures to improve the safety of our frontline employees.
- Help lead the Capex approval, tracking and reporting process, including project analytics, committee presentations and post-audits.
- Support costing for new innovation, costing requests submitted by plant cost accountants, and the year-end audit process by providing working papers and costing analysis.
- Lead the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan processes for the Supply team, collaborating cross-functionally to develop financial models and scenarios, outline long-term business strategies and establish building blocks that achieve our growth objectives.
- Coach and develop three direct reports, helping to prioritize key deliverables and provide opportunities for development.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree (business, finance or accounting specialization preferred).
- Accounting designation (CPA) or working towards completion.
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting in a manufacturing environment. CPG experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with costing methodologies, and experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Strong record of performance management, financial analysis and planning accountability.
- Experience leading teams, including developing direct reports and establishing a team culture.
- Ability to deliver results through others, setting team priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with strong attention to detail. Strong excel skills are required.
- Experience uncovering key insights and leveraging them to influence decision making.
- Excel at leading and influencing cross-functional partners, with a solutions-oriented approach to solving problems.
- Proactive and ambitious mindset, willing to challenge the status quo to improve the business.
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills, and comfort developing and delivering presentations to senior management.

**What we expect**:

- ** Values-led**: You’ll be a member of a thoughtful and compassionate team that prioritizes respect, teamwork and resourcefulness along with a good dash of fun. Sometimes, even making granola bars is hard, and life’s too short to take ourselves so seriously that we don’t enjoy the journey.
- ** Unparalleled experiences and opportunities**: We’re still determining who we are and what we can be. Help us shape what this organization will look like and what we’ll offer the world, into the future. This means rolling up your sleeves and sometimes building the process - fast - while employing it. At Riverside, progress occasionally means proceeding imperfectly, and we’re okay with that, as long as we’re staying true to our values and learning
