**Moulton Tree Service** is seeking a motivated and skilled Arborist Assistant/Grounds Person to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our tree care operations by assisting our arborists in various tasks related to tree maintenance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about outdoor work and interested in developing a career in the arboriculture industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist arborists and tree climbers in tree care operations, including pruning, trimming, rigging, and removal
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools for tree care, such as chainsaws, chippers, pole saws, ropes
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including raking, chipping, and debris cleanup
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and workflow

**Requirements**:

- Experienced in operation of chainsaws and tree care tools
- Previous experience in arboriculture, landscaping, groundskeeping, or related field preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliability and respect for our scheduled start times
- Strong and dependable work ethic, and attention to detail is crucial to work safely and efficiently
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and follow instructions from experienced team members
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with a tight knit crew and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
