Cook/cleaner

Young Champions Daycare, is currently seeking to hire a cook/cleaner for our daycare.

Daily duties:

- Cooking for all children in our center following our menu and the Canada Food Guide Line. (lunch and snacks)
- Helping with daily cleaning such as: bathrooms, kitchen, children's cubbies, vacuuming, and cleaning up after meal time for the children.

To whom we hire will need to get their Food Handling Certificate course. which is covered by the center if completed in the first attempt. The course is online and normally only take 8hours or less to finish.

To whom we hire would need to get their criminal record check within their first month of hire.

Daily shift: shift can be aware from 4.5-8hours.

The job opening will stay open until we find someone.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-8 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Stony Plain, AB T7Z 1L8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
