**WHO WE ARE**

We are looking for a Farm Team Lead to join our team. As a Farm Team Lead, you will help organize and execute the day-to-day operations. This includes coordinating team tasks and assignments, planning and optimizing use of equipment and resources, managing workplace safety and environmental compliance, and driving quality in crop production. Do you have a proven track record in agricultural practices, ability to lead by example as well as excellent leadership and communication skills? Then this role is for you.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Working with the CEO, your role is both hands-on execution and supervision of a wide variety of critical farm operation duties:

- Help plan annual crop rotations, inputs, storage and market opportunities
- Coordinate work schedules and assignments
- Perform and supervise daily farm operations
- Organize and manage inventory of supplies and equipment
- Manage farm equipment, buildings and assets including scheduling of maintenance and repairs
- Complete field and crop inspections
- Maintain farm logs and production records
- Analyze data, trouble shoot and solve problems
- Ensure farm safety and environment procedures are followed
- Keep informed of agriculture technology, equipment, practices and science to identify and recommend improvements

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- 10+ years grain farm experience in Western Canada
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written English communication skills
- Detailed knowledge of soil and water management, precision agriculture, and farm software
- Proven work ethic, ability to learn and willingness to train others
- Able to perform physical duties and work extended hours during peak farming periods
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1A license is an asset)
- Post secondary education in agriculture, agri-business, heavy duty mechanics, etc. will be considered an asset

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
