Environmental Service Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our facility. Your role will involve performing various cleaning and custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our premises.

**Duties**:

- Clean and sanitize designated areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with waste management and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when reordering is necessary

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $22.88 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
