South Otter electric is based out of Aldergrove BC, where we specialize in the agricultural industry providing installations and service to the poultry, dairy, and industrial sectors. Although we specialize in these areas we often diversify into other areas of the trade, keeping the work environment fresh and interesting. Our work primarily ranges from Langley to Chilliwack, with projects at times for employees that wish to work out of town.

**Job Overview**
- Read & interpret CEC, drawings, diagrams, prints, & schematics
- Installation of distribution equipment and switch gear
- Installation of conduit, cables and low voltage cables
- Installation of lighting fixtures, switches, and other devices
- Installation of control wiring and components such as relays, vfd's, contactors, ect
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and control wiring
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Requirements**:

- Valid BC drivers licence
- Complete set of hand tools
- 1 year of electrical experience
- Registered apprentice through ITA or Red Seal

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $22.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (preferred)
