310t Apprentice

GFL Environmental is looking for a 310T Apprentice to join the growing Liquids division in Bradford, ON

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance services
- Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate and assign repairs
- Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs
- Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns
- Conducts safety checks on all vehicles and equipment
- Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associates with repairing vehicles, documenting part usage and accounting for repair times
- Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate / OHSA standards
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Working alongside apprentices to provide them with assistance and guidance
- Other duties as assigned

**Knowledge, Skills and Competencies**:

- Enrolled in a 310T apprentice program
- Valid “G” driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Own tools are required
- Experience with welding will be considered an asset
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Applicants with 3+ years’ experience will be viewed with priority
