This position offers a great opportunity for career development in the HR sector, allowing you to acquire practical experience in a dynamic and cooperative workplace. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with the Human Resources team to deliver administrative, staffing and recruitment support. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to short-term projects and support the department in accomplishing a diverse range of daily activities.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and benefit systems with employee data including new hire, classification changes, wage/salary changes, and termination information.
- Verify and monitor employee attendance to ensure accuracy attendance for management and payroll processing.
- Assist with and respond to internal and external inquiries and forward to appropriate HR team member for follow up.
- Maintain employee files and the filing of related confidential correspondence into employee files.
- Provide support to operational areas as required including scheduling and coordination of meetings
- Provide support to the HR Manager and overall HR team in areas of recruitment and selection including screening resumes, coordinating interview schedules, and administering job postings.
- Order office supplies
- Assist all HR staff with administrative tasks when required.
- Other Human Resources duties as assigned

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management, business administration or related discipline.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- Ability to multi-task and focus on competing timelines ensuring critical details are managed effectively and timelines are met.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Good judgment/problem solving ability along with strong customer service and relationship building skills.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
