Looking for a dynamic CNC Router Operator to join our team in Dorchester, Ontario

**General Description**:
The nature of the work is mainly production runs, with the possibility of rework and prototype parts.

**Essential Duties**:
The duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

- Knowledge of CNC controllers and required software (IE Mastercam software, Thermwood controller)
- Loading and unloading of parts
- Cleaning up, storage and numbering parts
- Inspecting and reworking parts
- Resolve task issues and recommend work measures to improve productivity
- Understanding of fundamental cutting tool selection
- Trouble shooting and problem solving
- Understanding of quality procedures
- Proficient in blue print readying (geometric tolerances)
- Knowledge of required measuring instruments and gauges
- Comply with and demonstrate the Company Health & Safety rules and regulations in accordance with the Act
- Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed in all areas covered by this designation
- Have a good knowledge of all Standard Operating Procedures for their area and be able to ensure that all standards of quality and controlled and carried out
- General understanding of programs
- Machine maintenance
- Other duties as required

**Prerequisite Skills and Qualifications**:

- Operate and setup CNC at a beginner to advanced level
- Operate other miscellaneous Machine Shop Equipment
- Manually edit CNC programs
- Good communication skills
- Organized and tidy workmanship
- Measuring of parts
- Heavy lifting required
- Mastercam at a beginner level would be an asset
- Must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance if required
