Tennis Instructor

**Beechwood North Homes Association (BNHA) is looking for a Tennis Instructor to join the team at our outdoor community recreation centre.**

Established in 1976, BNHA has helped to create lifelong memories for generations of families in the Beechwood North community.

We are looking for an experienced tennis player who will be responsible for providing tennis instruction, while also providing positive customer service to members and their families.

**Tennis Instructor Responsibilities**:

- Provide group tennis instruction for age groups 5-9 and 10+ as well as potential private lessons with children or adults
- Develop and implement lesson plans for members of all skill levels
- Lead drills and exercises to improve patrons’ tennis skills
- Maintain tennis equipment and ensure facilities are in good condition
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all players

**Qualifications**:

- Strong background in tennis, with previous instructing experience an asset
- Previous experience working with kids and young adults
- TPA Instructor certification is an asset
- Able to provide a successful vulnerable sectors check (if aged 18+)

**Work Hours**:
This position is seasonal from July to August and involves 1-2 hour shifts typically scheduled during weekdays. Private lesson opportunities could include weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
