**Responsibilities could include but are not limited to**:

- Maintain and manage all the databases holding Director General of Maritime Equipment Management (DGMEPM) technical and publications related data.
- Analyze, review, format and update naval technical documentation and publications derived from Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to ensure they are formatted in accordance with standards dictated by naval policy by reviewing, proofreading, amending, indexing, and updating (i.e., addition, deletion, or supersession). Naval Technical Publications include documents such as In Service Trial Agenda (ISTA), Preventive Maintenance and Technical Bulletins.
- Review technical data change request forms by ensuring accurate validation and transmittal to approval authorities, ensuring proper inclusion of any required documents with the transmittal, and monitoring/tracking the progress/status of their approval and implementation.
- Liaise and collaborate with personnel from other outside divisions (e.g. DSCO, DNPS, DNCS, MSC and the Class Desks) to validate, inform and resolve any data inconsistencies with the Navy’s technical data.
- Utilize departmental information systems (e.g. DRMIS, CMIS, KONFIG) to facilitate the technical publication approval processes;
- Identify, investigate and research problems associated with Technical Data Management Systems such as SAP/DRMIS.
- Perform administrative functions related to the correcting of naval technical documents, create and maintain distribution lists, electronic scanning of documents, creating and updating spreadsheets;
- Assist the section as required and assist with any other special projects (i.e. Researching and providing reports from DRMIS etc.);
- Work with Microsoft Office as well as query various types of electronic databases and filing systems;
- Maintain and update administrative and naval publications as listed but not limited in the list of Administration and Technical Publications.

**Skills/Experience Required**:

- MUST HOLD A SECRET security clearance (please indicate on resume)
- A minimum of one year experience working with Systems Applications Products (SAP) in the Preventative Maintenance (PM) module;
- A minimum of one year experience reviewing and formatting technical data and assisting in the development of technical publications;
- A minimum of one year experience working with commercial data base systems MS Access, Oracle, or OMEGA PS;

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 240 days

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

**Experience**:

- working with SAP in PM module: 1 year (required)
- working with MS Access, Oracle or OMEGA PS: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
