**CABINET FINISHER**

Due to growth within our company, we are seeking aCabinet Finisher to join our team in Hawkesville (just outside of Waterloo). Our Cabinet Finisher is an integral member of the Chervin family and a key step in our vision to create inspired interiors that grace your living space with unrivaled **QUALITY**, **DISTINCTION**, and **PEACE OF MIND**. This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

Since 1991, Chervin has been designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry in homes across the Waterloo Region. Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and Muskoka region. Chervin has also built and acquired 4 sister companies which have given us the opportunity to be a key player in the markets for luxury hotel furniture, residential furniture, custom upholstered furniture, and home décor.

We are a family-owned business with a team of over 200 individuals pursuing “The Golden Means of Perfection”. We strive to live by the Golden Rule (**“Do to others as you would have them do to you”**).

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

Reporting to the Finishing Supervisor:

- Sand finished products between coats to ensure a consistent surface and a superior final product
- Shade products to match sample panels provided
- Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently
- Follow Chervin's core values and project them to your team.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2+ years of Finishing experience
- Ability to read and discern blueprints
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- Knowledge of finishing equipment and quality processes
- Strong English verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of woodworking is an asset
