**ABOUT UIS**:
Urban International School (UIS) is a private high school, fully accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education. We offer a specialized education here in Canada and abroad. Urban International School is seeking a high school English/ ESL teacher who is flexible, friendly and well-equipped as a teacher

UIS pays for set prep hours per class on top of the teaching hours.

**Job Duties**:

- able to teach: Ontario Secondary School ESL + English curriculums
- Lead and manage classes
- lesson planning
- accommodating and modifying lessons to fit students learning need
- teach English to improve conversation, Reading & writing skills

**Qualifications**:

- English/ESL TEACHING EXPERIENCE required
- Good communication skills
- Able to create a safe learning environment for students
- Able to cater lessons to different students' need and provide diverse teaching tools

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON M3J 0K2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:
