Overview:
Safety is the number one priority and you will need to follow group policies, promote safe working practices.

Lafarge Construction in X is hiring Labourers for the construction/maintenance of roads and parking lots.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate equipment as needed.
- Ability to work safely and follow safety guidelines
- May be called upon to run small power tools.
- Spotting and flagging.
- Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
- Follow instructions from your supervisor or manager
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Daily Work Details**
- Work locations are in and around Calgary and will vary during the construction season
- Start dates vary depending on spring conditions. In previous seasons work usually wraps up by mid November.

Qualifications:

- Valid Driver’s License
- Overtime as required
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required
- Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
