Situated on the north bank of the North Saskatchewan River, Raven Crest Golf & Country Club features an excellent variety of well-manicured holes: from tree-lined to links-style, our holes feature breathtaking elevation changes sure to delight golfers of all skill levels.

As one of the top golf clubs in Edmonton, Country Club Tour’s Raven Crest is your source for premier golf. The course can play at more than 6,700 yards and weaves its way through areas full of foliage as well as strategically placed water hazards and well-placed bunkers. At Raven Crest, we offer a full range of practice facilities including practice green, a short game area, and a full driving range.

Sandpiper Golf & Country Club is situated along the Sturgeon River and offers a thrilling challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The course ranges from 5600 yards from the forward tees to 6700 yards from the back tees. Our front nine plays like a links-style course, and contrasts the back nine, which is cut out of trees with 5 of the best finishing holes around. With 17 of our 18 holes featuring water and strategically placed bunkers, golfers are sure to enjoy a fun challenge and some of the best greens in the region.

Description of Role

Country Club Tour is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic/ team players to fill the role of Assistant Superintendent. Working with the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will help in the responsibility of all operations on the golf course. Our Turf Team prides itself on providing excellent playing conditions for our member card holders, members and the golfing public, all the while creating a safe and enjoyable working environment for all of our staff. We pride ourselves on a work life balance, no member of our Team will be required to work more than 5 days in a row without at least two consecutive days off.

Desired Experience
- Turf Management Diploma or a Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of golf course maintenance experience
- Valid Driver’s license
- Valid Pesticide license or the ability to obtain one in the first year
- Open communication with all departments
- Strive to be detailed and efficient at all times
- Strong leadership skills needed, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of staff
- Willingness to learn, ask questions and work in a team atmosphere
- Strong work ethic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated team player
- Knowledge in irrigation, fertilizing and spraying
