**Gillies Grove Animal Hospital**

This position is full-time working between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday-Thursday, with no on call commitment. **Gillies Grove Animal Hospital** is a full-service veterinary centre servicing the Arnprior and surrounding area. Our hospital opened its doors in 2011, with the intent of offering our clients a hometown feel. We are fully equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, digital monitoring systems, surgical suite and an in-house veterinarian lab station. We provide a full range of services from examinations, vaccines, spay and routine surgical procedures to advance diagnostics. Our veterinarians and staff are dedicated to providing your loving pet with the highest quality of animal care.

**About the role**
- The ideal RVT is empathetic, thorough, detail oriented, calm under pressure and efficient.
- Able to be proficient at prioritizing needs
- Spending time counseling clients in numerous areas of patient care and liaising with external company representatives (nutrition, lab, etc.).
- The ability to work equally effectively on your own or as part of a team with or without supervision.
- You must be confident in your technical skills
- Strong communication skills, both when dealing with clients and team members
