Brewery Worker

Big Bear Brewery located in Kelowna, is seeking an Assistant Brewer to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about beer and wants to learn more about the brewing process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities to maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety
- Follow standard operating procedures and best practices to ensure consistent quality of our beer
- Package finished beer into kegs, and cans
- Operate packaging equipment, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and perform routine maintenance
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Assist with all aspects of beer production, including but not limited to: brewing, fermentation, filtering, packaging, and quality control
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient brewery operations

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 19 years of age and legally eligible
- Prior experience in a brewery or related field is preferred
- Passion for craft beer and a desire to learn more about the brewing process
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality beer
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a production environment

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
