**_What You’ll Do:_**

You will play a key role in this individual contributor position, providing superior customer service, partnering with global and regional HR teams, you will provide compensation guidance and analysis to all levels of the organization, focusing on talent retention and recognition, internal equity, market competitiveness, policy interpretations, and compliance in our compensation programs. You will:

- Facilitate the design, implementation, and administration of our global compensation philosophy and strategy, programs, policies, and procedures.
- Interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate managers and employees on compensation policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation of compensation initiatives.
- Provide both complex and routine analytical, technical, and operational support for the regional HR and management teams by leveraging data from various sources.
- Assist with the preparation of materials and reports for the Executive team, the CD&A section of the annual information circular, and quarterly board meetings.
- Complete and provide analytical analysis on compensation-related metrics (i.e., pay equity, pay at hire, span of control, etc.)
- Maintain compensation related HRIS data integrity, conducting audits to ensure accuracy and consistency, assisting with projects such as mass system updates.
- Oversee the job classification standards for role profiles, including job families and job functions, role levels, titling conventions, analyzing for accuracy and to ensure internal equity of positions across job families and grade levels.
- Coordinate annual salary and pay practices surveys: consolidate and interpret data, provide overview of market trends and best practices, and administer the compensation structures, building and updating pay ranges and scales as necessary.
- Collaborate in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual compensation review process including salary and short-term incentive components.
- Coordinate the company’s recognition programs (service awards, peer to peer).
- Assist in the development and delivery of communication and training materials on compensation policies and practices, ensuring internal documentation (guides, FAQs, forms, etc.) is relevant, current, and easily accessible.

**_What We Are Looking For:_**
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Compensation Specialist role or other HR role with demonstrated knowledge and experience in compensation, performance, and reward programs.
- CPHR, CCP, PHR, or SHRM-CP designation would be amazing.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR is a plus.
- A solid understanding of HR processes and procedures, including annual salary planning, completing salary surveys, compensation analytics, building pay structures, and job classification systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, power queries, xlookups, database tools, logical and statistical functions).
- Experience with reporting and metric development.
- Understand the requirements of privacy laws and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Experience within complex, global organizations would be an asset. Experience with compensation program administration in Latin America would be extraordinary.
- SuccessFactors experience would be beneficial, as would experience with the SF Compensation module.

- Communication Skills - clear and effective communication with others, both orally and written, that demonstrate the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely with diplomacy and tact. The ability to speak Spanish would be a bonus.
- Problem solving skills - identify, review, and assess complex problems, developing and evaluating possible solutions, making recommendations for the way forward. Creativity is key.
- Critical thinking skills - using logic and reasoning to analyze data, information, etc., identifying insights, developing conclusions, and questioning when the results don’t look right.
- Time management skills - ability to plan, meet deadlines, and attend to details, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously and maintaining quality of work; an ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and complete last-minute requests, as needed. Flexibility to attend meetings outside of core hours due to team members in EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
