**Pacific Industrial Movers LP (dba) Apex Specialized Rigging & Moving and Pro-Tech Industrial Movers**, part of NorLand Limited, provides specialized rigging, heavy transport of major components and customized solutions for their customers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a new team member to fill the position of **Rigger **at Pacific Industrial Movers. **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside rigging crew to offload and place equipment using various specialized tools and equipment
- Load/unload trailers, tie-down loads, tarp load and rigging
- Follow safe work procedures to assist with lifting, lowering, and moving materials and loads
- Exercise good driving manners and taking precautionary measures during inclement weather conditions
- Safely deliver loads of equipment, including oversize, to our worksites
- Ensure proper documentation maintained
- Always maintain good working relations with customers through cooperative attitude
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements

**Qualification**:

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Willing to obtain tickets/certifications
- Able to lift heavy items
- Rigging experience is preferred, but not required
- Valid Class 1 BC driver’s license is not required but considered an asset (must have clean abstract)
- Valid Class 3 BC driver’s license is not required but considered an asset (must have clean abstract)
- Crane ticket, forklift ticket, and oversize load experience an asset
- Honest, reliable, punctual, positive attitude and flexible availability including work out of town is required
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- This position will be reporting to sites throughout the Lower Mainland with opportunities for out of town work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lower Mainland, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Rigging: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- crane ticket, forklift ticket, or oversize load experience (preferred)
- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
