Product Distribution Center Warehouse Operations Team is a diverse and dynamic group of over 35 professionals dedicated to delivering life-supporting services to the citizens of British Columbia. **The Role**
As a Lead Hand, you'll assist supervisors by providing guidance and training to staff, help with fulfilling orders, and manage the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods. This is an excellent opportunity to build leadership skills and directly contribute to improving warehouse processes and procedures. You’ll also have the chance to take on new responsibilities while working in an environment that supports skill development and growth.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Secondary school graduation, or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum six (6) months experience providing staff training /supervisory experience.
- Minimum six (6) months (within last 5 years) experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems e.g. SAP.
- Minimum one (1) or more years working experience (within last 6 years) in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Minimum six (6) months (within last 5 years) operating material handling equipment such as power carts, order pickers and forklifts.
- Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- A valid active Class 5 or Class 7(N) driver’s license is required.

Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Minimum one (1) year minimum recent (within last 5 years) experience using SAP.
- Experience supervising 3 or more staff.
- Current or previous certification operating order picker, power cart & forklift.
- Current Level 1 or higher First Aid certification.
- Experience using automated technology and hardware such as RF scan guns, RFID, bar code scanning.
- Experience with training staff in material handling equipment such as power carts, order pickers and forklifts.
- Experience with training staff in a warehouse and logistics operation.

PROVISOS:

- The position requires that safety footwear must be worn that complies with Work Safe BC standards.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or evenings as required.

**About this Position**:
Currently there is one (1) permanent opportunity available in Coquitlam
This position has full time on-site requirements.
