As an **Estimator** at **TriForce**, you will be responsible for evaluating project proposals, gathering necessary data, and preparing detailed cost estimates for construction and renovation projects. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure our estimates are accurate and competitive, enabling us to win and execute projects successfully.

**Project Assessment**:

- Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information relevant to the estimate.

**Cost Estimation**:

- Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Utilize estimating software and historical data to develop cost projections.

**Bid Preparation**:

- Collaborate with the bidding team to develop competitive bid proposals.
- Ensure that all bid submissions meet client requirements and deadlines.

**Vendor and Supplier Relations**:

- Solicit quotes and bids from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.

**Value Engineering**:

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options while maintaining project quality.
- Provide recommendations for cost-effective alternatives.

**Risk Assessment**:

- Identify potential project risks and uncertainties that may affect cost estimates.
- Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all estimating activities, including data sources, assumptions, and calculations.
- Prepare and present estimates to project management and stakeholders.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the estimating department.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations (preferred).
