**WHAT**:a part-time cook, baker & prep hybrid position
- **WHEN**:2 to 4 days per week, must be available weekends and early mornings
You will be baking, prepping and cooking in this position— this position is in our cafe kitchen baking, preparing made-to-order items, and cooking.

- **Has kitchen or baking experience (will consider avid home bakers who can demonstrate experience)**:
- **Can adjust recipes, taste for flavour combinations and missing ingredients, and who generally understands cooking, food combination, and flavour principles**:
- **Prides themselves in hard work, and cares about their contribution to a team and workplace**:
- **MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS (Saturday and/or Sunday)**:
- **Is passionate about baking/food and the nuance of flavour, texture and food creation**:
- **Can work independently following systems and processes to produce results without direct supervision while also able to work in a fast-paced environment with high cross-communication required**:
- **Possesses high attention to detail and cares to analyze their work to tweak and make adjustments to recipes and processes**:
- **A fantastic problem solver and self-starter**:
- **Enjoys a smaller team, small business operation and is independent and self-motivated to complete all tasks within the food and baking process identifying problem areas and working to solve dilemmas**:
- **Is extremely reliable and able to identify and execute daily goals, working within time requirements to produce specific items**:
- **Proficiency in maintaining a clean and tidy working environment (many day-to-day cleaning tasks involved)**:
- **Likes to create new flavour combinations and recipes while being proficient at following recipes with high attention to detail and consistency**:
- **Is committed to their contribution to a respectful work environment with a high value on their team and small business operations**:
- **Emphasizes high ownership in excellence and hard work**
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-32 per week
**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
