**Brewery/Retail Staff**

We are a family-operated farmhouse brewery located on our 100-acre homestead in Peterborough, Ontario. Here at 100 Acre Brewing, there is a seat at the table for everyone. When it comes to beer, we focus on traditional styles that take time and care to be their best while also being creative and experimental as nature intended. We are excited to share our beer, home and green space with those who enjoy nature and appreciate that quality is never rushed. We hope to see you soon

**Retail responsibilities**:

- Greet customers with a positive attitude.
- Sell merchandise (clothing, glassware, beer).
- Promote products.
- Daily cleaning and ensuring the retail space always looks presentable.
- Handle stock, refill fridges and other retail items as necessary.

**Serving responsibilities**
- Answer questions regarding the brewing process and products.
- Assist with special events and promotions.
- Serve beer.
- Daily cleaning, including wiping down tables, ensuring any spills are cleaned up quickly and sanitizing high traffic areas.

**Who You Are - Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- A Smart Serve certification is required.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for most of the shift.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Previous experience working in a brewery or bar, and/or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Willing to learn about the brewing process in order to discuss it with confidence.
- A charismatic, friendly individual who loves working as a part of a team.
- A fun and positive attitude

**Schedule & Compensation**
- Pay is $16.55/hour & tip pool.
- Branded t-shirts provided for uniform.
- We're open Thursday-Sunday for winter hours and Wednesday-Sunday for the spring and summer months.
- 1-2 shifts a week until our spring/summer hours kick in, with opportunities for more hours
- Must have weekend availability.
- Shift hours range from 5 - 8 hours.
