**Role Overview**:
At VRIFY Technologies Inc., we are expanding the capabilities of our AI Targeting team with the addition of a dedicated Junior Geophysicist. Your role will primarily focus on the compilation, validation, merging, processing, QAQC and interpretation of geophysical data, serving as a contributor within a team that thrives on data-driven insights. You'll play a key role in synthesizing geophysical information to support our AI-driven targeting solutions, driving innovation in exploration strategies for our clients. Additionally, your Python scripting skills will come into play as you actively seek out manual processes within this workflow to automate (collaborating with our R&D and Product & Development Teams).

**Role Impact**:
As an integral member of our AI team, you will be at the forefront of blending traditional geophysical expertise with modern data analytics. Your contributions will be vital in transforming raw data into actionable insights, thereby influencing decision-making processes in exploration ventures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Senior Geophysicist in the QAQC, processing, merging, interpretation and validation of client data (geophysical products) for active/historical ai client/public data compilations.
- Participate in the development and refinement of data compilation methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy; seek to automate as many manual processes relating to the above using pre-existing coding experience (Python).
- Assist in geophysical discussions with R&D/Product & Dev, providing support to Sr Geophysicist (the SME); work collaboratively with Senior Geologists and Data Geoscientists to integrate geophysical understanding into predictive models and analytical tools.
- Contribute geophysical expertise to cross-disciplinary projects, ensuring that geoscience perspectives are represented and valued.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics.
- Technical Skills: Advanced level skill in coding (Python), competence in QGIS, remote sensing tools, and familiarity with databases, competence in Geoscience Analyst.
- Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary remote team, bridging the gap between geophysics and data science. Strong work ethic and performance-based thinking are a must. Self-driven, you take the initiative to seek out and rectify problems or challenges.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Be registered as a Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT) or professional geoscientist/engineer or able to obtain a registration as a GIT or P.Geo/P.Eng.
