Job Title: Independent Contractor/Owner Operator - Vehicle Types: 5 Ton, 3 Ton,

Location: Victoria and North Island

Compensation: Pay range from $7,000 to $10,000, paid twice a month

Job Summary: We are currently seeking independent contractors and owner operators with their own 5 Ton trucks, or 3 Ton trucks to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to work in the Victoria and North Island regions, providing reliable and efficient delivery services to our valued clients. If you are a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and wants to be your own boss, this opportunity is perfect for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate your own 5 Ton trucks, 3 Ton trucks to transport goods within the assigned areas.
- Ensure safe and timely pickup and delivery of packages, following designated routes and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, date, and any issues encountered during the process.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as fueling, cleaning, and regular inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries from clients in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Own a reliable and well-maintained 5 Ton truck, or 3 Ton truck.
- Possess a valid insurance policy for the vehicle.
- Previous experience in delivery services or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and carrying packages.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with the Victoria and North Island areas is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive pay range from $7,000 to $10,000, paid twice a month.
