Doc Clerk

**DOC CLERK - Extendicare Laurier Manor**

Reporting to the Director of Care the DOC Clerk is responsible for administrative and clerical support of the nursing department, ordering, receiving, re-stocking, inventory control and payment processing of all nursing supplies

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Preparation for orientation groups and assisting with the interview process
- Inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking and payment processing of all nursing supplies
- Filing residents charts and business files
- Serving as back up receptionist
- Maintaining records as required and adhering to established department policies and procedures
- Maintaining positive relationship with nursing staff
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills are essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite essential
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems an asset
- Able to maintain a positive attitude while under pressure
- Background in human resources an asset
