Neurofeedback Technician

**Neurofeedback Technician Position**

Stradwick Psychology & Neurofeedback Clinic is a growing full-service mental health clinic in Nepean. We specialize in providing treatment for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns. Areas of specialty include TBI, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, developmental trauma, PTSD, and chronic pain/illness. We offer a full scope of psychological services, including psycho-educational and psycho-diagnostic assessment, individual psychotherapy/CBT, and psychophysiological-based interventions, such as neurofeedback training and other biofeedback modalities

**POSITION**: Full-Time and Part-time

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Providing Neurofeedback Therapy
- generating Quantitative EEG (qEEG) brain maps, running neurofeedback session, and completing clinical documentation.
- Scheduling client sessions and monitoring client progress.
- Inquire any updated history regarding client: medication, additional treatment, behavioural concerns, or problems.
- Inform supervisor of changes in the patient's condition.
- Verify that EEG equipment and caps are cleaned and functioning properly.
- Complete documentation of client/parent comments and own observations after each appointment.
- Archive studies and copy to appropriate storage devices.
- Participate in continuing education and training to facilitate best practises.

**ASSETS**:

- Masters Degree
- Certification in Neurofeedback.
- Understanding data analysis and qualitative methodologies.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Bachelor’s in Neuroscience.
- Experience and understanding of individuals with mental health, learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Detail oriented.

**JOB LOCATION**:

- Provide Neurofeedback Services to our three locations**, Nepean, Centretown and Stittsville.**:

- **MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO GET TO ALL THREE LOCATIONS.**
