**Horticulture Service Technician**

**The role**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Directing, coordinating and implementing projects for Priva North America.
- Communicating technical concepts/solutions to internal and external customers.
- Reviewing job contract plans, scope and specifications, survey information, sales sketches, estimates and take-off sheets.
- Preparing submittals per engineering standards, ensuring commitment dates are met.
- On-site work that includes programming and commissioning of Priva BAS software (i.e. point-to-point commissioning and establishing a BAS network)
- Train customers on the ideal operations of Priva Systems
- Supporting the Priva Partner Network, Sales and Project Managers.
- Travel mainly within North America required approximately 75% of the time
- A diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, and/or Instrumentation & Controls technician/background
- At least 5 years of experience designing and programing a broad range of commercial controls systems.
- Knowledge of Engineering hardware, sequences, creating control drawings, control device selection, and as-built details.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience providing high quality customer service.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with scheduled deadlines.
- A desire and ability to travel within North America.
- Strong computer aptitude and ability to learn new software

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in programming and commissioning control systems.
- A comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and BAS systems.
- Worked with building automation protocols such as BACnet (IP - MS/TP), Modbus, Etc.
- Meshing diverse systems/equipment into a cohesive BAS network.
- Experienced in programming, commissioning and start up BAS systems (AHU, RTU, MAU, Chiller, Boiler and etc.)

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
