310T TRUCK & COACH TECHNICIAN- AFTERNOON SHIFT

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 12:00am
**Rate**: $39.73 per hour plus $2.12 afternoon premium, ($41.85/h)

Miller has over 50 years’ experience in the waste management sector, and currently operates out of more than 30 locations. We are looking for a highly capable 310T Truck & Coach Technician to be located out of our Durham Yard, in Pickering, Ontario.

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of 310T Truck & Coach Technician. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
- The service and repair of all Company vehicles to ministry standards and Miller Waste standards.
- Will be required to repair and road test equipment, including hydraulics and electrical, as well as shop maintenance.
- Will be required to conduct vehicle maintenance according to established MWS policies and procedures.
- Maintain all required records and files for vehicle maintenance.
- Conduct on-road service calls, as required.

**Requirements**:

- Must have at least a valid 'G' Licence.
- You will have ability to diagnose and rectify faults, as well as experience in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Your ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is key as well as working in a team environment.
- You must be available to work late when trucks are behind schedule, as well you may be required to work weekends and holidays.
