**The Position**:
The Construction Handyman position is full-time and located on site in Fergus, Ontario. The following is a list of the responsibilities of the position:

- Prep homes as directed by Site Supervisor for QA (Quality Assessment Inspection) as well as Pre-Delivery inspections.
- Rough and/or Finish Handyman duties as required.
- Complete deficiencies listed on QA and PDI inspections as required.
- Ensure that all deficiencies are completed in a timely manner according to all Tarion timelines.
- In cases where home has been occupied, develop a pleasant and helpful working relationship with our homeowners.
- Seeking opportunities to assist our homeowners in order to provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide own tools as required to perform duties outlined above. Service supplies will be provided by Sorbara as required.
- Always be very respectful to Co-workers and trade partners to foster a safe and pleasant worksite.
- Other duties not mentioned above, as determined by the needs of this role.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team setting as well as individually.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous experience in the new home construction industry considered an asset.
