**Key Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the Chalet in accordance to Housekeeping guidelines and work safety regulations:

- Floor Cleaning - Vacuum, Carpet Clean, Floor Scrub, Mop
- Garbage/Recycle/Compost/Used Oil/Animal Waste/Linen
- Washing -Kitchen Rags/Mop Heads, and other items
- Using special equipment for carpet cleaning and scrubbing floor
- Handling cleaning chemicals
- Responding to any tasks requested by other department (wedding, etc)
- Special events logistics - putting away dance floor and stage panels
- Liaising with Duty Manager and/or Cabin Duty team member as required
- Anticipating and meeting the needs of the guests is the exceptional service skills required to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assisting other janitor team members with cleaning, garbage removal, putting away the dance floor and stage panels and loading the blue tram
- Performing heavy duty cleaning projects as assigned
- Preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a janitor for a minimum of 1 year
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Knowledge in janitor skills/chemical/equipment
- Working well with others
- Ability to safely lift 40 pounds
