**The Institutional Equities division of TD Securities provides equity sales, trading, research, underwriting, and distribution from offices in Canada and the US.**:
**As an Equity Research Associate, covering the technology sector, you will contribute directly to the ideation, research, and publication of market-moving research reports. You will hone critical analysis skills, learn about disruptive technologies, make an impact on capital markets, and develop a valuable network of c-suite executives and institutional investors.**:
**Develop novel, thought-provoking research to help investors make critical investment decisions.**:

- **Source, analyze, and generate insights from company and industry data.**:

- **Leverage industry knowledge and analyses to forecast earnings in complex financial models.**:

- **Develop valuation tools by staying current with market developments.**:
**Job Requirements**:
**- **Excellent financial analysis and spreadsheet skills.**:

- **Strong analytical and quantitative skills.**:

- **Superior business writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills to communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner.**:

- **Manage time to work independently under strict deadlines, with high attention to detail. Hours can sometimes be long and unpredictable.**:

- **Strong work ethic and initiative.**:
**Educational Assets**:
**- **Preference for finance and business qualifications - must be comfortable working with financial statements.**:

- **An engineering or computer science degree and/or experience in the technology industry are strong assets.**:

- **Designations, such as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or CA/CPA, are an asset.**:
