- The _Manager, Revenue & Receivables _is accountable to the _Director, Financial Operations_ for managing the organization’s Revenue and Receivables function. The _Manager, Revenue & Receivables_ also leads, or collaborates, on assigned strategic projects that enhance the capabilities of the Financial Services division.
- _
The position is accountable for developing and maintaining the integrity of student and corporate accounts receivable, invoicing and collections, revenue contract management, campus cash and deposit management, Sask Polytech-wide accounting duties and customer service activities - to ensure the highest quality of service and support is provided to internal and external customers. As a member of the Financial Services team, the _Manager, Revenue & Receivables_ acts as an internal consultant on new and/or complex financial activities within Saskatchewan Polytechnic and collaborates on the development of finance policies and initiatives to assist the organization in fulfilling its mandate.
- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**Specific Accountabilities**

**1.** **Financial Stewardship**
- Take the lead in establishing, reviewing and revising financial processes and procedures that relate to Revenues & Receivables.
- Ensure student and corporate accounts are monitored on a regular basis and past due accounts followed up appropriately in a timely manner.
- Ensure invoicing for sponsored students and the provision of goods and services is done accurately and on a timely basis with revenue recognition in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Standards and in compliance with indirect tax (PST & GST) legislation.
- Prepare timely and reliable financial information related to Revenues & Receivables for inclusion in organizational financial documents - quarterly board reporting, submissions to the provincial government, business plans and annual financial statements.
- Annually, collaborate with Enrolment Services and other Financial Services’ departments in the preparation of tax documents (e.g. T2202 and T4A).
- Manage Financial Services’ responsibilities related to provision and usage of Moneris’ services for payment processing.
- Monitor and report on financial performance of the Revenues & Receivables team.
- Develop financial reports to support operations and decision-making using business intelligence reporting tools such as Millennium FAST, Evisions Argos and Oracle Discover.

**2.** **People Management**
- Ensure a positive, diverse and inclusive work and learning environment.
- Provide mentorship, training, coaching and developmental opportunities to enhance performance and to enable direct reports to achieve their accountabilities.
- Develop and communicate clear performance objectives for direct reports and monitor their performance.
- Working with direct reports, ensure all members of Revenue & Receivables team receive appropriate training and regular feedback.
- Provide leadership and expertise by acting as a resource to others within the work unit or division.
- Ensure workforce planning and development activities are carried out within the unit in alignment with divisional and organizational goals.
- Ensure the effective use of human resource policies and practices including recruiting, selecting, training, developing, motivating and evaluating of employees.
- Address people management issues within the unit in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with the collective agreements and Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s policies.
