Reporting to the Operations Director, the **Production Supervisor** manages and monitors the company's production and logistics activities. The Operations Supervisor also coordinates the work of his/her team members and ensures safety, production, and quality objectives are achieved.

**Duties include**:

- Plans and manages the work performed by the operations team (operators and assistant-operators);
- Manages and oversees the training of new employees and assesses the training needs of all the employees;
- Ensures production schedules are respected ;
- Analyzes and solves production problems while improving productivity;
- Ensures continuous quality production;
- Champions and oversees the implementation and monitoring of the SQF certification process for their sector;
- Ensures their team respects all OHS procedures and regulations;
- Models the culture of excellence and quality;
- Ensures that all issue or problems are resolved in a timely manner to ensure continuous production is maintained and customer orders are complete;
- Participates in the maintenance of the SQF system including form verification and attending SQF committee meetings;
- Follows and respects food regulator requirements ;
- Master’s the critical control points (CCP) in the production process;
- Evaluates employee’s performance and provides guidance and support as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum 3 years of experience supervising a production team in an just-in-time continuous production environment;
- Minimum 2 years of experience implementing and managing production processes;
- Knowledge of the plastics industry and experience with sheet extrusion (considered an asset)
- Good knowledge of ISO and SQF processes and standards
- Leadership, excellent judgement, ability to solve problems and make quick decisions;
- Have a good sense of urgency and excellent planning.

40 hour work shift - 4 days/week - Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday
