Job description Skilled Labourer, Packaging Machine Operator
- Full-time, Permanent
- Monday to Friday day shift

**Food Packing machine operato**_**r**_

**Responsibilities**
- Understanding and learning to work with our state-of-the-art packing and food lines
- Operating packing machinery
- Set up the line with appropriate line operating standards
- Set up and work with the production team for daily production
- Work with the Maintenance team to make sure equipment are in good and safe working condition
- Support and work with QA manager following BRC, HCCP and GMP standards
- Fulfill relief duties as required
- Ensure proper set up of production line equipment, following set up instructions
- Maintain a safe, organized, clean and sanitized work area
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned ready for the next production shift
- Perform all other tasks and duties assigned by your supervisor

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in a food manufacturing/preparation environment is required
- Knowledge of Food Safety, GMP's, HAACP and other manufacturing policies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) a must
- Basic Math skills required the ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to follow directions of supervisor and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety rules and regulations
- Must have and maintain a strong attendance record
