**Sommaire de la fonction**
- La personne sera sous la responsabilité du Contremaître cathodes. Le titulaire assume la manutention des produits et matériaux à l’aide de divers types de chariots élévateurs et ce, en fonction des besoins opérationnels.

**Responsabilités principales du poste**
- Opérer de manière sécuritaire les équipements de manutention
- Inspecter et effectuer l'entretien des chariots élévateurs à fourche et autres équipements de manutention.
- Identifier les risques pour la sécurité sur le lieu de travail
- Aider à la manutention, si besoin à la production.

**Qualifications**
- Diplôme d’études secondaires (DES général)
- Formation et certification cariste requise
- Expérience pertinente dans la conduite de chariots élévateurs

- The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift or other equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.

**Responsibilities and duties**
- Operates forklift, consistently practicing safe operating habits to load and unload vehicles, transport material to production workstations, and prepare loads for delivery.
- Performs routine and regular preventative maintenance of vehicle advising supervisor of required repairs. Complete forklift inspection sheet daily.
- Prepares orders for delivery including identifying, locating and securing material as per shipping memo and completing paperwork.
- Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.

**Qualifications/skills**
- 1 + year of previous driving and forklift experience
- Valid forklift license
- High School Diploma
- Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety.
- Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
