We're looking for an amazing technician to join our ever-growing Live Team.

Support is the largest team within happier IT. Together the team supports thousands of users and almost every mainstream technology or device available today.

This is a hybrid position with some onsite work will be required for our clients in the West Kootenay area. All travel is compensated including mileage and expenses.

As part of the Live Support Team you will be tasked with resolving a broad range of incidents and triaging tickets to our Service Request Team on devices ranging from smartphones to desktops to printers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritize and manage your queue of tickets
- Investigate and resolve tickets in your queue
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Ensure timely, precise, evidence-based documentation of all support activities
- Verify and update all documentation pertaining to each ticket you work
- Collaborate with your team members and work together to help each other solve incidents
- Maintain an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal stakeholders for each incident you work
- Follow standardized procedures and create new procedures when required
- Visit Client sites on a scheduled Proactive monthly rotation
- Provide Reactive and Scheduled Field Services in the Kootenays

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Fluent, clear spoken English
- Excellent written English (to create clear, concise, client-facing communications)
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and triage your queue of existing and new cases as they come in
- Resourcefulness to find answers and solve problems
- Clear Criminal Record

EXPERIENCE with the following is an asset
- Microsoft Active Directory user management
- Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems
- Basic Networking
- Printer troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office
- Apple OSX
- Apple iOS
- Android OS
- BlackBerry
- QuickBooks / Sage 50 / Sage 300
- VOIP
- VPN

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
