**True North Sports + Entertainment** is looking for a Bartender to join our team at Canada Life Centre.**
The **Bartender **will be working with a team to ensure the efficient service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, while exceeding customer service expectations.
**What to be excited for in this role**:
- Ensure the proper portioning and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Verify inventory before and after each shift, and support set up and breakdown of work area.
- Uphold open communication with all working teams.
- Ensure supervisor is informed of issues that arise, and support resolutions.
- Support proper inventory control, cash handling, cleanliness, equipment operation, and safety.
**What we need from you**:
- 2+ years of experience in a bartending position as an asset.
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirit, and familiarity with standard drink recipes.
- Familiarity with POS systems and digital registers.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to communicate with all patrons, customers and coworkers.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently solve customer concerns with the utmost professionalism.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a team environment. Current Smart Choices Certification or willingness to obtain.**Why you should join us**:
