DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Maintain and promote a strong environmental compliance culture for all employees, vendors, and customers. Understand and fulfil the environmental roles and responsibilities of the position, as described in applicable plans, procedures, permits, laws, and regulations.
- Liaise with main appointed sub-contractors, consultants, supplies, etc. on all site matters.
- Develop a thorough understanding of plans and specifications, work schedules, delivery targets and procedures related to the site.
- Recognize hazards and provide guidance to employees and contractors on how to work in a more safe and efficient manner, correcting unsafe acts immediately.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with site staff, contractors, consultants, engineers, and regional authorities, while maintaining a strong presence and involvement in all site activities.
- Collaborate with project management, project personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to develop and maintain the schedule and site management plan, documents, and reporting. Provide weekly schedule updates to maintain production with-in budget.
- Complete daily time and production reporting and record any additional pertinent project information and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5+ years of experience supervising piling/deep foundations crews.
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of secant walls, caissons, and sheet piling installation experience in various types of ground conditions.
- Crane Operator ticket is an asset.
- Demonstrates excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proven leader, highly motivated to the overall success of assigned projects.

LANGUAGES
- Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English.
