Mixing/recycling Coordinator

The Mixing/Blending/Recycling Operator is responsible for maintaining control of the mixing/blending process through accurate weighing and change over of raw materials, as well as ensuring quality standards are met through precise compound flow. The role prepares and maintains the flow of materials to the extrusion department by recycling resins back into the process.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Review production batch sheets to verify correct raw material input amounts
- Input raw materials utilizing both manual and automated systems
- Operate automated mixing equipment through use of touch screens
- Conduct detailed and efficient cleaning of all process equipment
- Perform periodic preventative maintenance on processing equipment
- Shredding/grinding/pulverizing of product to put regrind back into process

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physical coordination
- Experience with hand held measuring equipment
- Good math and computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Forklift license/experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes

**Shifts**

Permanent, Full Time Position
12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround
Averaging agreements in place
84 hrs biweekly

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2023-05-08
