**Architectural Draftsperson (Solid Works)**

**Job type**:Full-time Permanent

**Location**:TRINITY DR AND DIXIE RD

**Shifting Schedule**:Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

**Qualifications**:
**Project management: 2 years (preferred)**

**Millwork Detailing: 3 years (preferred)**

**Custom Store Fixtures Drafting: 3 years (preferred)**

**Job description**
- Create detailed shop drawings from architectural drawings while understanding shop construction techniques.
- Produce accurate shop drawings for fabrication, site measure, material take-offs, material orders and oversee fabrication & logistics.
- Understand and work with architectural drawings, renderings, site photos, and hand sketches.
- Working closely with Estimators, and Production to understand initial job requirements, manage change orders/adds and provide a clearly defined path of construction.
- Take responsibility for your success and failure.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Practical problem-solving skills to create detailed shop drawings from architectural drawings while understanding shop construction techniques.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work on multiple projects independently.
- The ability or experience to work with Autodesk Inventor is an asset.
- CNC Programming experience is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
