Makerspace Coordinator

**Job Information**:
Located in Inuvik and reporting to the Manager, Makerspace Ecosystem, the Makerspace Coordinator will work in collaboration with the makerspace project team lead by the Manager, Makerspace Ecosystem and support makerspace development projects with diverse partners in the Beaufort Delta Region. The Coordinator will aid the growth of multiple makerspace opportunities within the Beaufort Delta region.

As a project liaison, the incumbent will work directly with stakeholders, community members, Indigenous Government Organizations, artists, funders, local businesses, partner organizations, and others. This position requires the incumbent to complete multiple deliverables with firm deadlines. The incumbent will be required to exercise good judgement in determining how best to meet work priorities and objectives.

Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
A Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or other relevant discipline, and two (2) years of experience working in a makerspace/manufacturing centre, delivering outreach content, instruction, communications, or other related position.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
