**Job Summary**

Our Delta, BC location of Zodiac Hurricane Technologies Inc. has an immediate opening for a Stores Associate. This position is a 3-month temporary, full-time position, with the possibility of extension, working Monday through Friday.

Over the years, we have developed products for military and marine operations, Coast Guard, Customs, law enforcement, search and rescue, yacht tenders, offshore industry and eco-tourism.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Parts Picking**:

- Efficiently pick parts based on provided lists
- Pack selected parts
- Monitor and report missing parts for Manufacturing Orders
- Conduct regular cycle inventory counts and report stock shortages

**Shipping/Receiving**:

- Load and unload trucks by hand or with forklift or hand truck
- Prepare items for shipping, including packaging orders and shrink-wrapping products
- Drive delivery routes to pick up and deliver various materials
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips and other documentation
- Communicate any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate departments
- Unpack and label parts, ensuring accurate placement on stock shelves

**General**:

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Assist co-workers in various tasks, including shipping, receiving, and other duties
- Adhere to 5S standards to maintain a tidy and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and company standards for quality assurance
- Complete the required paperwork and enter items into the inventory system
- Other related duties and tasks as required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to handle physical workload and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs daily
- Counterbalance Forklift Certification is preferred, but not required
- Intermediate computer skills, including Excel Data entry and ERP system experience is preferred
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to multi-task, be well-organized and detail-oriented, and coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic organization
- Posses good time management skills, understands how to prioritize, and works well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to solve problems and set priorities while working effectively and independently in a high-performance team culture
- Exceptional customer service skills, communicating professionally and respectfully with internal and external customers
- WHMIS training is an asset
- Knowledge of logistics, manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is an asset
- Desire and ability to learn new things
- Steel toe work boots and safety vest are required
