Athletics and Student Engagement Digital Media

Applications are invited for the position of Athletics & Student Engagement Digital Media Coordinator in the Athletics and Student Engagement Division, located at the Welland Campus. The starting hourly rate is $30.87/hr (Pay Band G - $30.87/hr to $35.77/hr) for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Working with the college marketing team to create a strategy and brand standard
- Ensuring optimal promotion of all events, activities and contact within the Athletics and Student Engagement (ASE) team
- Developing and coordinating all videos/photos with Broadcasting, Radio, TV & Film Program Coordinator (BRTF) for pre-season media day, all pre-season, in-season and post-season games, as well as collaborating with BRTF on game day productions and special events
- Participating and communicating with Ontario College Athletics Association (OCAA) marketing committee
- Working with the Director, Manager and ASE department to create story telling direction for whole ASE departmental objectives
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum three (3) year diploma/degree in Digital Media Design, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Communications/Journalism, Broadcasting, Marketing, Business or related fields or similar field of study
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a large and multi-faceted work environment supporting digital/communication strategy/website content; experience in student engagement and/or athletics is considered an asset
- Demonstrated experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office
