We are currently seeking an applicant to join our team and fill a full-time position as a Procurement Administrator at our Sales Office in Leamington, ON.

**Job Details**
The Procurement Administrator is responsible for a wide variety of duties that support the Procurement team.

**Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Provides support with existing suppliers and works with the Procurement Team when onboarding new suppliers.
- Inputs purchase orders, sales orders, and transfers into NAV/ ERP system.
- Coordinates transfers from our locations, in-line with Commodity Manager’s requests.
- Coordinates with Logistics regarding transfer truck requirements; including number of trucks, timeline, and any issues that arise.
- Inputs data from Sales and Procurement teams regarding contracts / committed volumes for Sales and from Growers.
- Establishes clear communications amongst other departments such as Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, Farm, Suppliers, Growers, and Management.
- Investigates ways of improving existing products and services within the Procurement Department.
- Maintains confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Provides support on contract negotiations / writing and filing.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in greenhouse, produce or the food manufacturing industry considered an asset.
- Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers, internal departments and other stakeholders through timely follow-up, initiative, and communication.
- Exceptional communication abilities, active listening skills and written communication skills.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Displays strong initiative and able to work independently with little direction, within a fast-paced environment.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft office software, specifically Excel.
- Spanish considered an asset.

**Workplace Conditions**:

- Most of the day is spent in an office environment - some Greenhouse and Warehouse when needed.
- Works with a diverse group of people internally and externally.
- Works Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required. Hours may fluctuate according to business needs. May be required to work after hours as needed.

**Salary** - Based on experience.
