**About Our Opportunity**:
Working under the direct guidance of the Public Health Officer, the Youth Test Purchaser will be driven to a broad cross-section of tobacco and electronic cigarette retail and tanning bed outlets throughout Nova Scotia for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the Tobacco Access Act and Regulations and Tanning Beds Act by determining if the retailer will sell tobacco or electronic cigarette products and/or tanning services to the Youth Test Purchaser.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
High school student between the ages of 15 to 17, excellent interpersonal, communication and observation skills; excellent documentation skills; ability to represent Nova Scotia Environment as a witness to defend enforcement activities.

**Pay Grade**:_ _HOURLY

**Salary Range**:_ _$14.47 - $15.96 Hourly
