**KEY FUNCTION**:
This position will help to support Stedman Community Hospice policies and procedures regarding access to facilities. This position is responsible for administrative tasks, light cleaning and ensuring all provincial guidelines are followed as individuals enter the residence. The role contributes to the shared responsibility of ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide for a healthy environment for staff, physicians, and patients/residents.

This position will screen individuals as they enter the Stedman Community Hospice. Actively screening by completing a questionnaire and any necessary testing. This position will ask all questions to screen for potential risk of COVID-19 exposure including recent travel history and health-related status related to symptoms of COVID-19.

**REPORTING**:
Under the general direction of the Administrator.

**DUTIES**:
1. Screen all individuals as they enter and leave for risks, symptoms, and signs of COVID-19.

2. Refer individuals to advanced screening and complete rapid antigen testing as required. Monitor results of testing and advise designated staff of positive outcomes.

3. Appropriately distribute PPE (i.e. masks) to all individuals and assist with proper use.

4. Ensure individuals entering the site are following proper precautionary measures.

5. Follow the Screener Process and escalate uncooperative individuals to the designated staff as required.

6. Participate in education and training specific to current, relevant federal and provincial health and safety legislation, standards and guidelines, and organizational policies.

7. Educate and promote health, safety and wellness in the workplace.

8. Participate in meetings as required.

9. Complete cleaning and sanitizing of the immediate area as required.

10.
