**DEI e-Workshop Facilitator - French Speaking**

Our training is current, engaging, uplifting, and relevant. We are seeking a French Speaking DEI Workshop Facilitator on a contract basis. The Facilitator will work with French speaking clients and therefore will be required to speak French.

**Job Overview**

The Facilitator will work as a co-trainer during group e-workshops and in-person workshops to French speaking organizations on DEI topics including anti-racism and active allyship. The Facilitator provides training across industries and business sectors. Sessions are with all levels of the organization (individual contributors, managers, and executives). In this role, the Facilitators work with Blue Level’s Research team to collaborate on curriculum customization and creation to deliver high-quality, customized, research-backed workshops.

**Essential Functions**

The Facilitator will be responsible for leading workshops on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) with other companies and organizations to help them develop ways to build a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. The Facilitator’s role is to create an environment where participants feel safe to express vulnerability and feel comfortable having meaningful conversations around DEI, anti-racism, and allyship. The Facilitator will also create an environment where leaders and participants can examine conscious and unconscious bias behaviors and engage in learning techniques that will lead to positive change. The Facilitator must be able to write and speak both French and English**.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Co-facilitates DEI training sessions in French
- Attends calls with clients to prepare for training sessions
- Mentors client groups
- Builds learning content
- Completes administrative tasks related to training sessions

**Position Qualifications**
- Fluent in English and French
- Activist mindset
- Facilitates using a non-judgmental and professional tone (for corporate clients)
- Passionate about DEI with thorough understanding of DEI
- Ability to facilitate learning sessions on bias, anti-racism, discrimination, gender equality, privilege, allyship, cultural humility, microaggressions, management practices, and/or other relevant areas
- Ability to work remotely with
- Fast/reliable internet connection is a must
- Have time zone flexibility
- Knowledge of workplace dynamics and operations that might impact clients
- Comfortable having difficult and emotional conversations
- Thrives in fast-paced/changing environments
- Great communication skills
- Positive mindset

**Education and Experience**
- 3+ years facilitating in French and English
- 3+ years’ experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- 5+ years’ experience providing training at the corporate level
- DEI Certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

**Position Type and Work Environment**
- This is a remote position
- 1099 Contractor
- Flexible schedules are a plus
- Quiet, noise-free space that is free of distractions
- PC or MAC with high-speed internet connection
- Excellent computer navigation skills (move between multiple windows and programs)
